Key Insights to Help You Thrive!

The Greatest Time in History for Assistants:  Welcome to the revolution! That’s right we are full force into the 4th industrial revolution and this may be the greatest shift for assistants (in a good way), we’ve ever seen. Don’t believe the hype, your profession will not be replaced by robots, AI, or the Terminator (lol). While the digital age has brought the ability for even complex tasks to be automated and will soon displace assistants stuck at the reactionary level of assisting. For everyone else, this presents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, so don’t miss it. If I were an assistant, I' would be focusing on upskilling right now. There are 3 distinct areas you should be upgrading your abilities in. To find out what these three areas are, watch this quick YouTube video.

Study Reveals Executives Request More of this from Assistants: We are right in the middle of conducting an executive study to uncover the top 3 needs executive leaders would like to see their assistants upgrade. So far one skill has stood out for its critical importance in supporting leaders effectively: that skill is proactive problem-solving.

Proactive problem-solving is not just about dealing with issues as they arise; it's about anticipating challenges before they become problems and devising effective solutions in advance. This skill is invaluable as it allows executives to maintain focus on their strategic objectives, knowing that their assistants are navigating the day-to-day hurdles that might otherwise disrupt their workflow.

This ability will distinguish “okay assistants” from exceptional ones. For a quick guide on how to increase this skill, check out this google doc checklist.

What would you recommend?”
